It is a place where Olympic gold medalists and NCAA champions pass each other in the halls. It is the home of perhaps the best basketball facility in the country and the home of one of the nation's top football complexes.

It is the home of the Heisman Trophy, the NCAA baseball player of the century, and several of the greatest wrestlers in history. It is the home of one of college basketball's first great big men, not to mention the home of one of the founding fathers of the sport. Its golfers go on to become household names. And its biggest booster is already a household name.

It is the home of 52 national team championships - the most in the Big 12 Conference and a total better than all but three schools in America. This is Oklahoma State Athletics.

Leave A Legacy

The future of Oklahoma State University Athletics has never been brighter! Within seven years, world-class facilities will be the norm for every sport. In an effort to ensure that all of our sports are competitive, the OSU Athletic Department is initiating a fundraising campaign to fully endow all scholarships.

Currently, a full scholarship costs approximately $20,000; therefore, it takes $500,000 to endow each scholarship using a spending policy of 5%. Excess earnings will be reinvested, allowing the principle to grow at a rate covering future scholarship cost increases. The donor has five to ten years to fund the endowment depending on the scholarship selected; the 5% spending allowance will not be applied until one year after the scholarship pledge has been paid in full.

Your generous gift to OSU in the form of a scholarship endowment will establish your legacy for future generations at Oklahoma State. To provide greater opportunities for people to participate in this historic fundraising campaign, three prominent donor categories have been created.

Position Scholarship Endowment ($500,000)

  • This gift opportunity allows a donor to name a scholarship for a specific position on the Cowboy or Cowgirl team of his or her choice. Associated earnings will cover the full scholarship cost for the student-athlete in a specific sport. The endowment will be forever named in honor of the donor, donor's family or another individual designated by the donor. This gift will fully endow the scholarship and is payable over five years.

Team Scholarship Endowment ($250,000)

  • With this endowment gift, the donor will name half of a scholarship on a Cowboy or Cowgirl team of his or her choice. Associated earnings will cover half of the scholarship cost for the student-athlete in a specific sport. The endowment will be forever named in honor of the donor, donor's family, or another individual designated by the donor. This donation is payable over five years.

First Quarter Scholarship Endowment ($125,000)

  • The donor of this endowment gift will name a partial scholarship on a Cowboy or Cowgirl team of his or her choice. Associated earnings will cover the partial scholarship cost for an OSU student-athlete in a specific sport. The endowment will be forever named in honor of the donor, donor's family, or another individual designated by the donor. This donation is payable over ten years.
