Our future is bright with exciting plans to create a new home for the rebranded Ferguson College of Agriculture. The state-of-the-art facility will improve recruitment and retention efforts, elevate research capabilities and create
opportunities for life-changing discoveries in the agricultural science and natural resource industries.
The facility is being created with modern teaching methods in mind, utilizing flexible lab spaces to serve multiple disciplines and interactive classrooms to harness students’ energy and the excitement of innovation.
It will transform our efforts to become even more collaborative, bringing all of OSU Agriculture’s expertise to bear on the challenges and opportunities facing the state of Oklahoma.
Kayleen and Larry Ferguson are avid OSU benefactors who want to help feed the world by elevating OSU Agriculture and its programs. The couple are the namesakes of the Ferguson Family Dairy Center in
recognition of their foundation’s lead gift for the facility, including Helms Hall. The gift revitalized the aging program and empowered OSU to enhance the research-based education offered at the facility while also attracting the
brightest students. The Fergusons, who met as students in the mid-1970s, have received numerous alumni awards from Oklahoma State University and believe in giving back to their alma mater.
