In support of the new bachelor’s degree in data analytics offered by the Spears School of Business, and with financial support from ConocoPhillips, the Center of Data Analytics (CODA) is offering a new Data Scholars program for top students majoring in data analytics, including a new scholarship.
The CODA and ConocoPhillips partnership in the Data Scholars program provides professional development activities, industry mentoring and a significant scholarship. Awards will begin during the Spring 2024 semester.
Students in the data analytics degree program develop important data engineering skills and applied expertise in sophisticated data analytics approaches, including machine learning and applied artificial intelligence. They can also take electives in related areas such as marketing analytics to augment their degree program. Data analytics related jobs are among the fastest growing careers in the STEM fields.
“We are excited that ConocoPhillips partnered with the Center in facilitating the development of an enhanced data savvy workforce with this innovative scholarship program for the data analytics degree."
