The College of Human Sciences is transforming the way students learn and faculty teach with a new state-of-the-art addition, currently under construction.
The enhanced Human Sciences facility will feature a 350-seat auditorium for the College’s largest classes and provide much needed space for seminars, workshops and outreach activities. The addition will also provide a 2,500 square-foot professional partners suite for collaborative ventures with professionals from industry, community engagement and extension entities.
The expansion allows for new cutting-edge experiential learning spaces, public-private office and conferencing venues as well as renovated dining spaces. The building will invite students and faculty to gather and collaborate in ways not possible before. The renovated façade will enable the building to carry itself as a western bookend to the campus’ main quad with visibility and accessibility from Monroe Street.
