The cost of a college education continues to increase. To avoid incurring a significant amount of student loans, most OSU-Tulsa students work full or part time while continuing their education. Scholarship funds are very valuable to our students and in many cases, your gift to the OSU-Tulsa Annual Scholarship Fund may mean the difference between the student earning a degree or not.

Graduate School In Materials Science And Engineering
The Helmerich Advanced Technology and Research Center (ATRC) will be a “marquee” research center focused upon materials research. The Graduate School in MS&E will foster interdisciplinary research across a wide range of scientific and engineering disciplines. Your gift to the Graduate School will attract faculty and graduate students – the best and the brightest – achieving the vision that the Helmerich ATRC will be the lead research site in Oklahoma and the region.

Helmerich Advanced Technology And Research Center
The Helmerich Advanced Technology and Research Center will be the “marquee” center for Advanced Materials Research. Research in Advanced Materials will support advancements in Biomaterials, Natural Gas-Based Materials, Nanotechnology, Electronic/Optoelectronic Materials and Biomedical Materials. The Helmerich ATRC will facilitate technology development and technology transfer through partnerships with local, national and international organizations. Your gift to the Helmerich ATRC will lead to the development of new enterprises and products which are key to economic development in the City of Tulsa, the State of Oklahoma, and the Nation and beyond.

OSU-Tulsa Library Endowment
The OSU-Tulsa Library provides access to the latest publications and information which stimulates new ideas for new research for our college students and faculty in their respective fields. Students and Faculty rely upon both physical and online access to book collections, current research, trade magazines, electronic journals, peer-reviewed publications, reference materials and searchable databases. Additionally, the new Helmerich Advanced Technology and Research Center will require access to highly technical reference materials which are typically more expensive that other resources.
Your gift to the OSU-Tulsa Library will provide students and faculty with an ongoing source of stimulating, responsive and effective environment for learning.

President Gary L. Trennepohl Chair in Leadership
Permanently endow a chair in President Trennepohl’s honor at the $1 million level. The endowed funds will then be matched dollar for dollar by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, thus creating an endowment of $2 million. This chair will encourage excellence in leadership for the OSU-Tulsa campus, specifically to support student scholarships, promote OSU-Tulsa in the community, and provide programmatic support.

Oklahoma Center for Poets and Writers Television program
Writing Out Loud is about more than being a television show; it’s about showcasing leading writers and artists so that their stories are available to everyone throughout Oklahoma free of charge. Now entering its eighth season on OETA, Oklahoma’s PBS affiliate, the program has a regular viewing audience of 100,000. The interviews are then rebroadcast on the Tulsa Public School Channel and during the Oklahoma State Department of Education’s instructional television slot. Your gift makes possible the opportunity to encourage and enlighten the local television viewing audience.

Oklahoma Center For Poets And Writers Celebration Of Books
The Celebration of Books a bi-annual event on the campus of OSU-Tulsa which features over 70 notable authors and writers who host readings, panel discussions and featured presentations. The Celebration works to achieve a sense of extended community by using reading and books as our common denominator. The short range goal of the Celebration is to involve a broad range of people to engage in thoughtful discussion and interaction about current literary readings. The longer range goal is to tape various authors who are then broadcast on the OETA program Writing Out Loud and shared with the local television viewing community. Your gift ensures the ongoing resources needed to continue this local cultural legacy.

Oklahoma Center For Poets And Writers Hall Of Fame
The Oklahoma Writers Hall of Fame was established to honor Oklahoma writers who have made major contributions to American literature while living and writing in Oklahoma. Writers are nominated by the general public and selected by a jury of writers who have already been inducted. The official induction ceremony is held every spring.
Your gift serves to encourage ongoing support of the written arts in Oklahoma.

President’s Excellence in Teach Award at OSU-Tulsa
All OSU-Tulsa faculty members are eligible but must be nominated by a student(s) and reviewed by a committee of students, faculty and administration. This is the highest honor for faculty on our campus and provides a $1,500 cash award to the recipient.
