Building Campaign – The number one priority for our business school, the campaign for the Spears School of Business Building is a vision to transform the learning and research experience of our students and faculty by creating a dynamic and stimulating new environment. The new building not only will unite the Spears community under one roof, but also it will create a physical environment of excellence where students receive a leading-edge business degree, where faculty are enthusiastic sources of leadership and innovation and where nationally prominent academic programs will attract the best and brightest.

The new facility will support the expansion of instructional and research programs and include state-of-the-art classrooms, a center for graduate programs, a center for student success, an entrepreneurships center, team rooms, an atrium area for student and faculty gathering, and study spaces.. The current Business Building will be completely renovated and used for faculty and staff offices. External funding is needed throughout all stages of development - from the building design through building completion.

Campaign Goal – There is a complete range of naming opportunities, but a gift of any amount is appreciated.

Campaign Goal –A minimum of $25,000 is required to establish such a scholarship. However, gifts of any amount will enhance the scholarship program.

Endowed Chairs and Professorships – The caliber of the SSB’s educational strength and competitiveness is reflected by the quality of its faculty. Highly regarded in the academic world are those persons who hold endowed chairs and professorships. The presence of well-known professors on campus serves as a catalyst to both faculty and student enrichment. Private support is critical in helping to recruit and retain the best and brightest faculty to teach students and to continue important research that will bring prestige to the SSB. Because only earnings of the endowment are used to support these positions, an endowed chair or professorship becomes a perpetual source of funding. Each chair or professorship may be named for or by the donor, linking forever that name with a position that will be occupied by a continuing line of distinguished educators and researchers. Gifts to endow a faculty chair are matched by the State of Oklahoma.

Two levels of endowed faculty positions:

Campaign Goal – Any gift in support of faculty excellence is appreciated.

Program Support - The Spears School of Business provides outstanding academic programs and leadership in developing curriculum and enrichment activities for preparing our students for the challenging business environment that they will face throughout their career.   Naming gifts for Spears School Departments, Centers, and Institutes and other program support will ensure continued excellence in our academic programs and develop a host of enriching activities that bring the curriculum to life for students.  From study abroad opportunities to real world team projects, to internships, to student competitions, to a myriad of other activities, students take their skills and knowledge and apply them outside of the classroom.  Such opportunities not only enhance our academic programs but also develop our students’ confidence and abilities.  Because of these experiences our students will be ready to “hit the ground running” when they join the workforce, taking initiative and responsibility in all that they do.

Campaign Goal – A gift of any amount is appreciated.
